Dr. Krantz''s testimony before my committee in support of needed flexibility within Michigan's curriculum mandate was extremely compelling. She was well-prepared and was able to draw upon her previous research while both outlining the policy objectives and answering the questions of committee members. Through her efforts within the committee process as well as meetings with individual lawmakers, this important reform measure passed the Michigan House with overwhelming bipartisan support.
Kari also has several years of experience implementing successful Career Technical Education programs within my home school district in Owosso and consistently kept our district at the forefront with innovative and compelling content. Her knowledge of emerging trends and effective delivery models has led to programs which prepare students of all backgrounds and abilities for future careers.
Because of her driven nature as a caring academic professional, I consider Kari an ongoing partner in my work in the Legislature. I will continue to contact her as a thought leader on matters related to education policy.
